Arrested for Walking on The Wrong Side of the Street?

No, not really but I think the lady I saw a few minutes ago would have tried if it was possible.

Here, I made a little diagram for you on this segment of
THE NEW YORKERS HAILEY LOVES MOST....

Alright so this story takes place on 6th Ave between W. 25th and W. 26th
I was casually walking along after doing some quick fruit pickup at my local Trader Joe's
I had earlier signed myself up to bring a fruit bowl to my last English class and was trying to understand why they charge $2 for BBQ chips but 4x that for 3 strawberries...so lost in my own head I walked along. There was a huge group of people so I moved over and kept walking, there was a lady in my path but I moved over closer to the resturant to get out of the way. She proceeded to walk right into me on purpose, so naturally being annoyed I whacked her with my shoulder, you know, the way all mature people handle a situation like this...

She then proceeds to yell at me about being on the wrong side of the street and it's not her job to worry about walking into me so she did. I was lucky enough to hear her upset ALL the way to the next street. Gotta love those New Yorkers.

By the way the moral of the story is walk on the right side of the street
It wasn't my fault I was on the wrong side, I had to walk around the people on
the wrong side of the street. Otherwise: I never would have been in her path.
There's a lesson to be learned everywhere youngins'

My day seemed to have this theme of annoying people the whole way through.

Example A: Annoying girl complaining to our professor for straight 30 mins in my Excel class
She ran out of time during the Final, here's news so did I. Nobody did good, it's
like the SAT's when times up, it's up. Accept it.

Example B: One of the new girls moving into my suite proceed to email me saying that 3 of
them got into the suite but their friend didn't (weird because I live where she
would go) and if I could please switch with her so they can all be together.
Nice try, but I did I just hear you ask me to:
  • fill out tons of paperwork
  • study 24/7 for finals
  • attend the finals
  • resend my RA application because it has the wrong room number now
  • pack all my stuff including taking apart 2 sets of HUGE shelves
  • bring all my stuff home so I can move into another room in a month
....in less than a week. You outttaaa your mind girl. Good luck with that.
Now the downside is they'll all move in and be BFF's and mad at me because I wouldn't leave so the other girl could come in, well too bad suckers. It's not even possible if I wanted to.

HAPPY TUESDAY...
